The Plain Cookie

Ages 6-9

Fruchy puts the last plain cookie on her own plate.

Her friend's plate has a cookie with a dark raisin in its middle.

Her friend picks out the raisin. The cookie breaks around the little hole.

Fruchy begins telling the story of their pretend picnic.

Her friend keeps working at the raisin.

Fruchy looks at her own plain cookie.

She moves it to the other plate.

Her friend looks up.

Fruchy takes the broken cookie and sets its two halves on her own plate. She leaves the raisin beside them.

Her friend takes a bite of the plain one.

Fruchy picks up one half from her plate and continues the picnic story.
