The Other Side of the Curtain

Ages 6-9

Yonah's friend asks him to keep hiding behind the curtain in their pretend detective game.

Yonah goes behind it. He waits while his friend searches the room.

His friend opens the curtain at once.

"Found you. Again!"

Yonah stays beside the curtain this time.

"I want to look, too."

"I'll hide one more time. Then I look."

His friend points to the curtain.

Yonah goes behind it. This time he moves to its other side. His friend opens the first side and finds nothing.

Yonah's shoes show beneath the second side. His friend finds him there.

Yonah steps out. His friend looks at the curtain, then at him.

He goes behind it.

Yonah faces the wall and waits.
