The First Order
Ages 6-9
Hillel's friend wants their pretend bakery to fill the whole rug.
Hillel puts three play-dough rolls on the little plate.
His friend puts six more beside them.
"Keep making."
Hillel starts another roll. His friend clears a long space for it.
At the edge of the rug, Hillel's unfinished shop sign lies facedown.
He turns it over.
"I want to open with these first."
His friend looks at the empty long space.
"Not enough."
Hillel puts the three-roll plate beneath the sign.
"This part can open. You can make more there."
His friend keeps the six rolls in the long space.
Hillel stands the sign beside his plate. He takes one pretend order from an empty chair and puts one roll into a paper bag.
His friend makes another roll, then slides two from the long space toward the plate.
Hillel opens the bag for them.
