The Ball Rolls Back

Malky sits on the rug. Mommy sits close, facing her. A big soft ball rests by Malky's knees.

Malky pushes the ball. Roll, roll. Mommy stops it with her hands. "My turn," says Mommy.

Mommy rolls the ball back, slowly. It touches Malky's knees. Malky puts both hands on it.

Malky pushes again. The ball rolls to Mommy. Mommy smiles. "Here it comes." The ball rolls back.
