Around the Circle

Ages 6-9

Yonatan sits in a circle of four chairs. His shoes rest on the chair's bottom rung.

The child on his left says, "Pass."

The next child says, "Table."

The child on Yonatan's right says, "Egg."

He looks at the child who says egg. His mouth opens, then closes.

He gives a small shake of his head.

"Gate," says the child on his left.

Yonatan's eyes follow the next speaker.

"Ear."

His shoes stay on the rung. He turns toward the child on his right.

"Ring."

Yonatan looks across the circle.

"Goat," he says.

His chair stays in the circle. The child on his left says, "Tree."
